Over the last 2 years that we have been selling the PPM, we have found that it is been discovered and is becoming increasingly more in use with professionals. In May of 2010 Channel 5 ran a programme about massage machines. If you watch the clip at the start you will see Jon evaluating lots of kit. Ours was the only handheld massager selected (maybe that wins us a “best in class” rosette) and then the comparisons became Apples and Oranges with the overall winner being a £500 foot massager - go figure.
The Hollyoaks stars that evaluated our machine loved it but pointed out that it is awkward for single handed use, an evaluation we totally agree with but then again, a massage is always better if given by someone else. This does not preclude self use, quite the opposite and there is nothing better when you need to hit that particular problem area.
One of the main points that distinguished our massager is the ability to free roam, the massager glides over bony areas without hurting due to the flatter design of heads and the effectiveness of the treatment is not compromised either.

Percussion Massage Explained
Each massage head 'taps' up to 66 times per second, sending penetrating waves deep into the muscle and tissue. You can configure the Power Percussion Massager with 1, 2 or 4 massage heads, and each head can have one of three types of attachment.
The penetrating waves spread through the muscle and tissue, increasing the blood flow, to feed and relax tired and tense muscles.
When muscles are exercised, or when they are held still for long periods (typical for someone with a desk job), lactic acid accumulates, making them stiff and achy. The percussive waves stimulate the lymph system, as well as increasing blood flow, which both aid removal of lactic acid from tired muscles, speeding their recovery.
Percussive massage is also believed to help break down cellulite and stimulates the lymph system to remove the waste products. This is particularly effective with the 'slim pin' attachments which focus the massage pressure to improve effectiveness.
